Il dott. J. Badawi Crook ha studiato Classici presso l’Università di Oxford e Letteratura Comparata presso la UCL e la SOAS, prima di conseguire il dottorato presso la Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. La sua tesi ha esplorato i legami tra la letteratura greca antica, quella indiana e quella del Vicino Oriente antico. Nel 2026-2027 sarà ricercatore post-dottorato presso il Center for Hellenic Studies dell’Università di Harvard a Washington, D.C. Vive al Cairo.

Dr J. Badawi Crook studied Classics at Oxford University and Comparative Literature at UCL and Soas before taking his doctorate at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa. He wrote his thesis on the links between Ancient Greek, Indian, and Near-Eastern Literature. In 2026-27 he will be a post-doctoral research fellow at the Harvard Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington, D.C. He lives in Cairo.
