We Are Late è un’interruzione necessaria. Il silenzio si mescola ai tamburi e ad un magma sonoro degno dell’ultima notte a Zion, fuori dal Matrix. Il trio è una vera e propria macchina di composizione dal vivo: ogni elemento è calibrato, ogni silenzio è intenzionale. L’improvvisazione è un’estensione naturale della forma mentre le radici affondano nella tradizione. Il risultato è una musica nella quale pianoforte, basso e batteria dialogano in modo serrato e viscerale. Un suono che attraversa il confine tra composizione e interpretazione, tra scrittura e istinto.

Manzoni says:
“We run after our lives as if stopping were a fault, as if silence were a luxury we cannot afford. We are constantly late — always, in everything. Late for ourselves and for the moments we let slip away without even managing to truly live them.”
We Are Late is a necessary interruption. Silence blends with the drums and with a dense sonic magma worthy of the last night in Zion, outside the Matrix. The trio is a true live composition machine: every element is finely calibrated, every silence is intentional. Improvisation is a natural extension of form, while the roots sink deep into tradition. The result is a music in which piano, bass, and drums engage in a tight, visceral dialogue. A sound that crosses the boundary between composition and interpretation, between writing and instinct.
