Il Premio strega in arabo

Per concludere questa serie speciale di eventi online, l’IIC del Cairo continua il suo impegno nella promozione della letteratura italiana contemporanea e delle sue traduzioni in lingua araba. L’Istituto Italiano del Cairo è stato difatti selezionato per l’anno 2020 quale componente della giuria estera del Premio Strega, il più importante premio letterario italiano.

Grazie ad una collaborazione con la Fondazione Bellonci ed il prof. Petrocchi che la dirige, assieme alle preziose traduzioni in lingua araba svolte dal Dipartimento di Italiano della Badr University del Cairo e diretta dal prof. Hussein Mahmoud, l’IIC Cairo realizza una serie di opere video nelle quali attori egiziani leggono in arabo gli estratti tradotti dalle opere partecipanti al Premio Strega.

Gli attori egiziani, tra i quali spicca la partecipazione di Amir Salaheldin, dopo aver partecipato ad un workshop di recitazione teatrale tenuto dal regista italiano Gianluca Barbadori, leggeranno alcuni estratti in arabo dei testi selezionati quest’anno per il prestigioso premio letterario Strega.

I video, 12 in tutto, uno per ogni libro finalista selezionato, possono rappresentare un buon esempio di scrittura contemporanea per il pubblico arabofono, spaziando da tematiche familiari a situazioni sociali, da descrizioni intime a ricostruzioni storiche.

-ختاماً لسلسلة الأحداث الثقافية الخاصة عبر الإنترنت، وإنطلاقاً من إختيار المعهد الثقافى الإيطالي بالقاهرة كعضو في لجنة التحكيم الأجنبية لجائزة Strega لعام 2020، وهي أهم جائزة أدبية إيطالية، يواصل المعهد الثقافى الإيطالى بالقاهرة إلتزامه فى مجال تعزيز و نشر الأدب الإيطالي المعاصر وترجمته إلى اللغة العربية.

فى هذا الإطار وبفضل التعاون المُثمر مع مؤسسة Bellonci ومديرها البروفيسور/ بتروكي، جنباُ إلى جانب مع الترجمات القييمة إلى اللغة العربية التي يقوم بها قسم اللغة الإيطالية بجامعة بدر بالقاهرة تحت رئاسة أ.د/ حسين محمود، يقوم المعهد الثقافى الإيطالى بالقاهرة بتنظيم سلسلة من المبادرات الفنية عبر تقنية الفيديو يقوم من خلالها ممثلون مصريون بقراءة مقتطفات مترجمة إلى اللغة العربية من الأعمال الأدبية المشاركة في جائزة Strega.

حيث يقرأ الممثلون المصريون، ومن بينهم نذكر المشاركة البارزة لأمير صلاح الدين، عقب مشاركتهم في ورشة التمثيل المسرحي التي أقامها المخرج الإيطالي جانلوكا باربادوري، بعض المقتطفات باللغة العربية للنصوص التي تم إختيارها هذا العام لهذه الجائزة الأدبية المرموقة Strega.

ونأمل أن تساهم مقاطع الفيديو، البالغ عددها 12 مقطعًا بواقع مقطع لكل كتاب تم إختياره فى المرحلة النهائية للجائزة، فى تقديم أفضل مثال على فن الكتابة المعاصرة بالنسبة لجمهور الناطقين باللغة العربية وذلك إنطلاقاً من الموضوعات المألوفة إلى المواقف الإجتماعية ومن الأوصاف الحميمة إلى إعادة البناء التاريخي.

To conclude this special series of online events, the IIC in Cairo continues its commitment to promoting contemporary Italian literature and its translations into Arabic. The Italian Institute of Cairo has in fact been selected for the year 2020 as a member of the foreign jury of the Strega Prize, the most important Italian literary prize.

Thanks to a collaboration with the Bellonci Foundation and prof. Petrocchi who directs it, together with the precious Arabic translations carried out by the Italian Department of Badr University in Cairo and directed by prof. Hussein Mahmoud, IIC Cairo creates a series of video works in which Egyptian actors read the extracts translated from the works participating in the Strega Prize in Arabic.

The Egyptian actors, among whom Amir Salaheldin’s participation stands out, after participating in a theatrical acting workshop held by the Italian director Gianluca Barbadori, will read some extracts in Arabic of the texts selected this year for the prestigious literary prize Strega.

The videos, 12 in all, one for each selected finalist book, can represent a good example of Italian contemporary writing for the Arabic-speaking public, ranging from familiar themes to social situations, from intimate descriptions to historical reconstructions.
