Egypt’s Words on Water
Tre monodrammi messi in scena da Samira Kirollos: “The Shipwrecked Sailor”, una storia del Regno di Mezzo che contrappone l’ottimismo al pessimismo, seguita da “The Source of the Nile”, una storia di ossessione e determinazione ambientata nell’era islamica dell’XI secolo e in chiusura la tragica storia greco-romana di Isadora da Hermopolis (Tuna el Gabal), una storia di due città e di un amore giovane.

عرض لثلاثة من أعمال المونودراما: “البحار الغارق” وهي قصة من المملكة الوسطى تشجع التفاؤل ضد التشاؤم، ويليه “منبع نهر النيل” وهي قصة من الهوس والتصميم تدور أحداثها في العصر الإسلامي من القرن الحادي عشر ويأتي في ختام العرض المأساة اليونانية الرومانية لإيزادورا من مدينة هيرموبوليس (تونا الجبل)، قصة مدينتين وحب شاب.

Egypt’s Words on Water
Three monodramas performed by Samira Kirollos: “The Shipwrecked Sailor”, a Middle Kingdom story which pits optimism against pessimism, followed by “The Source of the Nile”, a tale of obsession and determination set in the 11th Century Islamic era and closing with tragic Graeco-Roman story of Isadora from Hermopolis (Tuna el Gabal), a tale of two cities and young love.
