Daniele è un giovane che vive ai margini della Laguna di Venezia, sogna un “barchino” da record, ma tutto quello che fa per portare avanti il suo sogno e guadagnarsi il rispetto degli altri si rivela tragicamente controproducente. Racconto vestigiale di iniziazione maschile, violento e destinato a fallire, esplode trascinando la città fantasma su un naufragio psichedelico.

تدور أحداث الفيلم حول “دانييل” الشاب الذى يعيش على حافة بحيرة فينيسيا والذى يحلُم بـ “قارب صغير” يحطم الرقم القياسي ، لكن كل ما يفعله لتحقيق حلمه وكسب احترام الآخرين يبدوا وأنه يأتي بنتائج عكسية بشكل مأساوي. الفيلم يُجسد قصة أولية عن طقوس الإقتبال فى العالم الذكورى، عنيفة ومحكوم عليها بالفشل، والتى تتفجر فتجر مدينة الأشباح الخاصة بهذا الشاب والتى لا وجدود لها إلى حطام سفينة الهلاوس .
